STEPS is offering cervical cancer screening using HPV self-swab - no appointment needed.

The HPV self-swab is a safe and effective screening option that can be done privately using a simple swab. No speculum and no pelvic exam required.

Am I eligible?

You may be eligible if you:

• Have a cervix
• Are 25–69 years old
• Have had sexual contact with another person (any gender)
• Have not had a hysterectomy with cervix removed
• Are not currently pregnant
• Do not have symptoms such as unexplained vaginal bleeding or pain
• Are due or overdue for cervical screening
• Have not had abnormal cervical screening results requiring follow-up

If you’re unsure, a STEPS staff member can help review eligibility with you.

Please note:
Pap tests are not offered at this drop-in. If you are unsure which screening test is right for you, please book an appointment with one of our nurses or your doctor/NP.
