Reminder: STEPS Urgent Care is Here When You Need Us
STEPS provides urgent, non-emergent medical care for patients whose needs can’t wait for a routine appointment, but are not life-threatening. We always encourage patients to see their Family Physician first, but if your doctor is unavailable, our Urgent Care Team is here to help.
What We Can Help With
Our Urgent Care service is for medical concerns that need attention within 24–48 hours, including:
- Accidents and falls
- Minor cuts, wounds, sprains, and strains
- Suspected minor fractures (fingers/toes)
- Coughs, colds, sore throat
- Vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration
- Urinary or bladder infections
- Skin rashes, infections, shingles
- New back or muscle pain
- Ear pain or eye discharge

Please note:
- Urgent Care does not provide routine renewals for long-term medications.
- If you need an emergency supply, we may be able to bridge your medication until your next appointment.
