Coping with Chronic Conditions – Therapy Group (Winter 2026)
STEPS is offering a free 9-week virtual therapy group designed to help individuals living with chronic conditions build coping skills and improve overall quality of life.
About the Program
Over 9 weekly sessions (90 minutes each), participants will learn tools related to:
- Managing emotions
- Reducing unhelpful thoughts
- Communicating while living with chronic illness
- Understanding how chronic symptoms affect well-being
- Supporting and learning from others with similar experiences
Group members will have opportunities to listen, reflect, share, and support each other throughout the process.

Who Can Register?
This group is designed for patients experiencing distress due to chronic medical conditions such as:
- Long COVID
- Fibromyalgia
- Chronic fatigue syndrome
- Headaches or chronic pain
- Post-concussion syndrome
- POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome)
- Diabetes
- Other significant chronic illnesses
Program Details
- Format: Weekly via Zoom
- Schedule: Mondays from January 5 – March 9, 2026
- Time: 12:30–2:00 PM
- No session on February 16
- Cost: Free
