Effective Communication – Group Therapy (Spring 2026)

STEPS Community Health Centres is offering an Effective Communication Group Therapy program designed to help participants build awareness of their communication styles and strengthen assertiveness skills. This 6-session group incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Participants will learn practical tools to shift unhelpful communication patterns and develop more effective, confident ways of expressing themselves. Each session focuses on a key component of effective communication, with an emphasis on assertiveness. Opportunities to listen, share, ask questions, and use worksheets for reflection and practice are included.
